And this just makes me even more likely to decide to emigrate by getting a chance to study abroad. Costs are nothing, when compared to having to put up with this.

There is something very insidious about the CPF – something that they have never told you. Today, let’s uncover the truth about the CPF and find out its true colours for ourselves.

Let’s jump straight in.

Do you know that if you had started work at the age of 21 in 2001 and earn a median wage, by the time you are 55, you should have accumulated almost $700,000 in your Ordinary and Special Account (OSA) (Chart 1)?

The New Voices Of Fantasy

Since again, I am reviewing anthology, I will be listing each storyindividually and evaluating them. Apparently, I realise that fantasy probably has not been Actually, this I believe was the best and most well explored. About a fairytale in the school and how it will take many people who vanish without a trace. And the main character also jumping eventually to find out, quite interesting overall. \nRating: 5 out of 5with me lately.

Hungry Daughters Of Starving Mothers

This was rather memorable, and that I did find the tale rather interesting and the main character a very interesting sort.

Selkie stories are for losers

I did like the way that it felt so real, about Selkie and the main character doing a fantastic explanation of it. All the while having quite a bit of introspection which I always like.

Rating: 4 out of 5

Tornado’s Siren

This was rather okay, and that I did find the writing clear. Sadly, I didn’t feel like connecting with the main character at all.

Left The Century To Sit Unmoved

Actually, this I believe was the best and most well explored. About a fairytale in the school and how it will take many people who vanish without a trace. And the main character also jumping eventually to find out, quite interesting overall.

A Kiss With Teeth

This was rather interesting about Vlad, and eventually his wife. An interesting tale with touching moments and an ending that does make me wonder for quite a bit what just happened.

Rating: 5 out of 5

Jackalope Wive

Didn’t really remember much about it, the writing was quite dull and I’m more confused about the world than anything else.

Rating: 1 out of 5

The Cartographer Wasps And The Anarchist Bees

Quite entertaining about the whole idea of bees and wasps, and the main character who seems to be a beekeeper.

The Practical Witch’s Guide to acquiring real estate

I didn’t feel that this was particularly well done, or even interesting. Perhaps the style was just a little too removed for my liking.

The Tallest Doll In New York City

Didn’t really remember too much about this story, it just didn’t ignite my interest. The whole doll thing was quite interesting if a little boring.

The Hunting Of Apollo A7LB

Well, not my type either. I found Hazel to be rather flat and the writing easy to skim true. Sci-fi just never works so much for me.

Rating: 2 out of 5

Here Be Dragons

I found the main character rather relatable, and the dragon hunting not that interesting if you ask me. But the first one where I won’t just be flipping pages.

The One They Took Before

A rather interesting and mysterious one where many died and Kayla seems to be at the centre of it all. Not surprising but could use a little more answers than that.

Tiger Baby

Perhaps the whole entire thing about it being set in my home country really attracted me, although it did suffer a little from being unable to hold my attention too much.

Rating: 2.5 out of 5

The Duck

Found it quite a bore, and needing a little more interesting about the duck and the main character.

Rating: 1 out of 5

Again, quite interesting and mysterious. The whole story works since it never gives much names, and that the ending was mysterious enough to continue to invite me.

The Philosophers

Using a guide format, just never gets too much of my interest. And again, it fails to really interes me.

My Time Among The Beach Blowers

Again, I didn’t find anything particularly interesting about this.

Rating: 1 out of 5

The Husband Stitch

I found the experimental way of it, clearly interesting and about the entire story of her being something different. I just enjoyed how it is rather normal, and at the same time something is lurking in the back to suggest otherwise.

Rating: 5 out of 5

The Pauper Prince and the Eucalyptus Jinn

I just didn’t remember too much of it. It just didn’t keep my interest long enough.

Mother’s Misfortune

Being a novella, I finished it fast and found it rather interesting and short. As well as straight to the point.

I don’t really hate the stepmother for what she does, at least she is sensible and had motivations to do what she did. If she were to pick Cendrilla over her daughters, then that is a little strange.

But I won’t consider this a misfortune, I mean betrothing a girl to a troll is not a good thing. So, yeah I believe that she simply got paid back in coin what she simply insisted on Cendrilla taking.

Overall, quite interesting and rather fascinating. And also, a nice break from what I am reading this days.

A Wild And Unremarkable Thing

I was really more confused as to this work as compared to before. There just wasn’t much of anything that really drew me in. And that was what really killed this book for me.

Although the concept and the writing was good. But I just found it rather aimless and comepletely unable to get into the work at all.

It just really didn’t feel like it was going anywhere. I did like Cody, and the strangeness of it. But I just didn’t see where it was going at all. The plot was quite a mess, as Cody lost her father and then it became something that I couldn’t really understand any longer. Which was where it lost me. It really lacked clarity, hence, I just didn’t enjoy this.

And that was just what didn’t work for me when it came to this book.

Wicked Like A Wildfire

I just found myself rather liking, for the writing and the way it did handle magic. Which to my ideal was a lot more new than any other. Although a tad vague.

However, the main issue of the story is that it takes forever for it to move the plot forward. Up until halfway, the story was more concerned about the sensory descriptions which were indeed gorgeous, but boring.

It really only got good when the whole magic comes in and her kinsman are revealed. I really like that part for the originality and the way that it felt so incredibly real and true. And in fact, was the best part of this book in my opinion.

Iris, is okay I just really didn’t care enough about how she is portrayed. Apart from the fact that her mother and her have a strained relationship. Or her sister who eventually decides to save her sister, I don’t really want to get into the details now. It’s really better if you read the book.

The myths and the setting were one of its brightest points, for it is rather different in the place of Our Lady Of Rocks. And also, the myths were so incredibly fresh from what I knew of the setting. And if there is mythology blended into a story, I always love it. And here, I guess it was well intertwined as I did care about the fates of them and their choices from there.

So, I guess this worked for a multitude of reason when it came to me. However, I do believe that whether you want to read this is up to you. It just was to my taste, but not completely faultless either.

The Gloaming

I just give up, there is absolutely nothing that interest me. While some things suggest that this is erotica, and not the kind I want to read.

And well, apart from the vampires who is just there and only exists as such, without much of any explanation. Surrounded by four narrators and not one who even are interesting.

As for it, what else comes to mind. Almost nothing else. The whole vampire thing was mysterious but I believed that I didn’t need to know it twice, and that nothing is moving it forward. Honestly all the narrators simply bog it down.

And well, at one third I simply give up because I gave it more than just a day to see whether I might rekindle interest. Sadly, it doesn’t.

The Curious Affair Of The Witch At Wayside Cross

Now this was a mystery which was so well plotted and even well written to the point that I was able to enjoy it so fully, and when I thought I have everything figured out, the author surprised me.

I was so surprised at how everything turned out, the ending being perfect in a way I never expected it will be. And that this mystery is a lot more than it seems, going from the death of a single man, to the disappearance of a baby. And a lot of reveals towards the end where I am so surprised by how it turned out.

The main character is Miss Lane, although I will have preferred to known her full name. But she is the one doing most of the investigation even when very little leads turn up and she is turned away again and again, she doesn’t ever give up.

I do really enjoy and admire her as she tries to put this case together with the help of her partner, although not as involved as she is. The interrogation and trying to get information are all done by her, and she puts in the brunt of the effort. And I really enjoyed as she slowly found clues and leads, all the while talking to people and learning more about them.

The entire plot is entirely what I will expect of the story, not easy to see and needing a lot of time just to really come to fruition. But once it does, everything comes together nicely, the mystery solved in the end. But the entire mystery is more than just one, it stretches and gets bigger. As the people involved are all not what they seemed.

And I guess, there was where I was completely sucked in.
